I am so proud to be a member of the RCM accredited Calm Births family. This course has been created by a midwife and is one of only two that has been accredited by The Royal College of Midwives (RCM).

Hypnobirthing is a birth preparation course that gives you the tools to be in control of your birth and helps you to remain calm, in control and relaxed. It's not hippy or out there, it's evidence-based antenatal care. I offer this option online or 1:1 in person.

The 1:1 course is three sessions and each lasts 1 and half hours. You go home with exclusive Calm births relaxations for you & your chosen birth partner to practice.  You will remain alert and in control the whole time but will be able to enter a space of deep relaxation. I will teach you about birth, the physiology and hormones involved and what you can do to be in control of your birth.

Who is hypnobirthing for?

The Calm Birth ethos is that we understand no two families look alike, there is no such thing as "one size fits all" in the birthing world. I will support you and your individual needs, whatever they may be. It is suggested that you start a course after 20 weeks but if you feel you need support sooner than that please contact me.
